Nice groove, there still are tracks like this sounding on radio, so it possibly could be aired if it was extended. Clap and hats could be a bit lighter, but the atmosphere is pretty good for a 2000's club. Good one man

I'm not a very classy guy, but this should be in an adventure videogame.
The structure is very nice, as it goes on adding more things, goes from gloomy to hopeful, specially when strings starts blending in, one of my favourite parts. Also the placing of the instruments is really good, I don't know much about stereo field and those things tho.
After the climax there's some saturated voice-like sound at 1:30, can't tell if it was made on purpose but it's not very pleasant hearing that when it's supposed to be the calm part. Same thing with the very last violin note, a bit loud...
If you recorded some of the instruments live with mic, hence the possible saturation, then props to you man. I don't even have talent to play some piano scores live and record it into my DAW.

SomeGuyMusic responds:

Thank you! The 1:30 distortion was supposed to be on purpose but I guess I should've eased it down just a bit. Also these are all stock instruments of FL Mobile! I tried my best to humanize them. Thank you for the review!

Yoooo I haven't heard this for ages, really beautiful composition, this is one of many songs that encouraged me to start to start doing techno, although this is much better than all the junk I made in my first three years. I still can't forget that piano part!

Casually stumble across this song again and forgot to say the things i like about it and what could have been added. Sounds very inspired on Zomboy - Nuclear, but to be the first attempt, it has a lot of potential.
Very cool reggae feel, and nice build-up, I always liked the lazer pitch up thing. The growls are perfect, About the distorted lead at the drop, got me bored cause they are kinda overused and they're the ol' reliable of dubstep but you managed well to make it interesting overall at the second drop. Could have a bunch of hihats rolling at the drum n bass beat part and some fx between transitions like a crash of Reverb kick FX. Just the snare is very saturated tho, got like too much soundgoodizer lol.
Overall, It was really nice to be your first submission here, I hope to listen more of this style.

Too ambient for my taste but it gives me goosebumps how well it portrays something huge lurking in the emptyness of the ocean abyss.

Such a cool tune! Love that supersaw lead, I miss when I used to listen more melodic songs. The percussion is nice but I feel like the kick needs more presence in the bass frequencies. Overall its a very uplifting loop!

The sound and the track itself doesn't remind me to any Rukkus' song at all. Only the drum pattern does. What about the monsters basses? Or the characteristic baroque piano between transitions instead of overlapping it with the main bassline.
Build-ups were disappointing (0:22/2:23), you just don't do a build-up to wait for the exact same melody playing again.
You could have done it much better if you spent a little more time, you already have everything you need to make a good dubstep song.
However, I understand that you're in your first steps into electronic music and listening to your original stuff makes me think that you've got the touch for dubstep. Keep doing it with time and perseverance but I would recommend (also for other people here) to get rid of the idea of sounding only like Rukkus and start creating original dubstep patches

DJDUBMUSIC responds:

You are right! it would be better if I create my own dubstep patches and not try to recreate someone else's

Very emotional. It was just hearing the first ten seconds I got hooked to this for a bunch of days, but I really like the final chorus, the supersaw and the pads are the definition of euphoric. Keep the amazing work!

Euphoric-Danique responds:

Thanks! Glad you are enjoying it, really appreciate it!

Indeed it's interesting. I don't know much about SuperHexagon, but your remix is awesome and has a nice flow, the bass is what makes it very catchy
By the way, Happy new year! Hope to hear more of this type! :D

SpeedoRH responds:

Hey man! Thanks for reviewing. Didn't expect you to review anything of mine really, so I'm glad! The bass was the most prominent element of the original song, so I made sure to make it as clean and catchy as I possibly could. Happy to know it worked out!

Happy New Year to you too! Can't wait to see more of your projects soon!

Masterpiece, even if it was a rush to do it. The ambient, effects and build-ups would fit perfectly in a Sci-fi movie or something cyberpunk-y IMO, and you even nailed that Xtrullor phasing bass! Mix is a bit saturated at the second drop but very clean even thought the amount of saturation, Idk how to explain lol. Cinematic and dubstep music is a combo I always think it has so much talent to do such thing.

FeroCatfish responds:

Thank you for your constructive feedback, and you mentioned the second drop, lemme tell you something that drop doesn't originally belong to this song. It was originally for another discontinued track, and I think it's kinda fitting in a contrast way to add that in this track.

Thank you for stop by. Here you can find noise.
